Our Story
So a left-handed ‘roo and a right handed moose walk into a bar...
...sounds like a joke but it turns out they fall in love, get married, and open a fusion restaurant in Queensland! Nestled in the quaint country town of Apple Tree Creek, Mollydookers Cafe & Bar balances country charm with city standards and presents a menu you can't find anywhere else in Australia.
With Alana having spent 8 years in Canada and finally moving home with her Canadian husband Mike, Mollydookers is everything they missed - friendly table service, good honest food, Canadian beer, whiskys, cocktails, wings, Ruebens and poutine with REAL curd! The list goes on but so does the menu!
Our Venue
Spacious but cosy, with something for everyone - that was always the aim. There's colouring for the kids and free WIFI for adults, ice hockey on the televisions and pictures on the walls of travels from afar and locals long gone. With plenty of indoor and outdoor covered seating, Mollydookers is a place you can unwind with friends and watch the world go by.
Planning a special occasion? If it's important to you it's important to us and we love helping you celebrate - be it birthdays, meetings, baby showers, retirements, hens parties or work breakups. With ample parking, turnaround space for large vehicles and easy access onto the highway both north and south, neither coming or going is an issue. Don't want either? Camp for free 200m south at the park.
Our Food
Our full al la carte menu proudly uses quality ingredients sourced locally from butchers and bakers alike to create Canadian inspired dishes.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner five days a week, we prepare all meals to order and as a result we have the ability to cater for dietary restrictions on request. We always work with you to ensure you have an enjoyable, stress free time; we even have one strictly gluten free fryer to enable endless options for everyone.
